Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy draws on the same theoretical foundations as psychoanalysis, but focuses on a specific theme, conflict, or recurring pattern. It is suited for people who seek targeted support with a concrete difficulty, without entering into the framework of a full analysis.

Ongoing sessions
As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in advanced training under supervision, my work is regularly discussed with experienced supervisors. This offers a particular form of quality assurance and, at the same time, allows for a somewhat lower fee than that usually charged by fully licensed psychotherapists. Statutory health insurance generally does not provide reimbursement. Fees therefore need to be paid privately.
